Paladin Builds - PvP

A Paladin build can be either Holy, Protection, or Retribution.

Which one are you?

The Holy Build

Holy leans towards healing.

With good healing gear Paladins with any spec can provide a good and reasonable amount of healing but if you want to dedicate your character to becoming a strong healer, especially for PvP, then you must go deeper into the Holy Tree.

If you want your Paladin healer to have mana-efficiency then you need Illumination and your specs should reflect this! However, with the healing Paldin, or Healadin, you can will find spending your talent points much easier and less restrictive and costly than for protection or retribution builds.

If you wish to build your healing abilities you will need to focus on:

• Spiritual Focus • Divine Intellect • Healing Light • Illumination • Sanctified Light • Holy Power • Light's Grace		• Holy Guidance • Divine Illumination • Divine Favor • Holy Shock • Infusion of Light • Judgements of the Pure • Beacon of Light

The Protection Build

Protection leans towards tanking.

If you are interested in raiding and want to tank in 5 man instances then you must go deeper into the Protection Tree!

For a protection build you need to focus on:

• Divine Strength • Anticipation • Improved Righteous Fury • Toughness • Improved Devotion Aura • Blessing of Sanctuary • One-Handed Weapon Specialization • Holy Shield		• Ardent Defender • Redoubt • Combat Expertise • Avenger's Shield • Guarded by the Light • Shield of the Templar • Hammer of the Righteous • Divinity (makes healing you easier)

The Retribution Build

Retribution leans towards melee DPS.

Retribution leveling is becoming very powerful. However, when using retribution you should try to use a two-handed weapon and deal with only one mob at a time. For a retribution build you need to focus on:
